If you find yourself being consistent with content one week, but putting it on the back burner the next – you need a magic pill, and that magic pill is called batch creating.
Most founders think they don’t have time for it.
They think it’s overwhelming and that it’s gonna take forever.
But then they actually start doing it and realise it’s way easier than they thought.
When you batch create, you’re removing the friction. You’re not going in and out of the task over and over again. You’re IN the flow. And once you’re in the flow? You work way faster because it’s streamlined.
One of our clients was inconsistent before they started batching. They’d create content randomly, post sporadically, and nothing was really moving. But once we got them batching, their consistency improved, they became visible and people started complimenting them, saying, “Your business is so successful, so polished, so consistent.”
That’s what consistency does.
The step by step batch creating guide:
Find what works for YOU. I personally batch bi-weekly or monthly, not weekly. Weekly feels too rushed – I’d have to gear up and get started all over again. But monthly, I get into the flow once, and I stay in it.
Do whatever you can commit to. Five posts a week? Great. Three posts a week? Fab. Just pick something you can actually commit to and stick with it.
Then follow this process:
1️⃣ Gather all your content ideas first (just bullet points, rough ideas)
2️⃣ Write rough scripts
3️⃣ Batch your filming on a day you feel HIGH energy (don’t rush this, you want to look confident)
4️⃣ Batch your editing
5️⃣ Batch your graphics (if you have any)
6️⃣ Batch your caption writing and scheduling
Here’s the secret though…
Don’t do lots of different types of tasks in one day. Spread it out over the weeks.
I do one batching task every Monday. By the time the end of the month rolls around, I have the ENTIRE next month of content done and ready to go.
That’s it. One task per week. And boom – you’re a month ahead.
Most founders say they haven’t got time but really they’ve got the time – they’re just trying to do it all at once which makes it feel impossible.
Break it down. Spread it out. Get in the flow.
